Energy Management

The Energy Affairs Directorate is responsible for providing uninterrupted, high-quality, reliable and affordable energy to participants operating within the approved boundaries of Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone.

• General:
  ∙ To carry out correspondence and notifications with EMRA (Energy Market Regulatory Authority).
  ∙ To carry out correspondence and notifications with EPİAŞ (Energy Exchange Istanbul).
  ∙ To carry out correspondence and notifications with TEİAŞ (Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation).
  ∙ To carry out correspondence and notifications with TEDAŞ (Turkish Electricity Distribution Corporation).
  ∙ To carry out correspondence and notifications with OSBÜK (Supreme Organization of Organized Industrial Zones).
  ∙ To approve License, Revision and Final Status projects, where appropriate, in coordination with the Zoning Unit.
  ∙ To prepare, analyze and share the Monthly Invoice Summary report.
  ∙ To prepare, analyze and share the Monthly Consumption and Loss report.
  ∙ To prepare, analyze and share the Monthly Production-Consumption Information report.
  ∙ To prepare, analyze and share the Monthly Average Active Energy Unit Price report.
• Transmission:
  To carry out operation, fault response, maintenance and repair works of the Substation (BALIKESİR OIZ SS), which is owned by Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone and under the control and supervision of TEİAŞ (Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation). To carry out required capacity increases, renewal and development works at the Substation.
  
  
  
  
• Distribution:
  ∙ In accordance with EMRA's decision dated 17/04/2008 and numbered 1575-2, and the OIZ Distribution License issued to Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone under license number ED-OSB/1575-2/1141, to carry out operation, fault response, maintenance and repair works of the distribution network within the approved boundaries. In addition, to carry out required capacity increases, renewal and development works in the Distribution Network.
  ∙ To ensure continuity and quality of energy in the distribution network in accordance with the relevant regulations.
  ∙ To grant energy connection permission to participants requesting it within the distribution network. To approve Transformer Facility projects prepared in accordance with the permission. To carry out provisional acceptance of Transformer Facilities installed in accordance with the approved project.
  ∙ To receive and evaluate electricity subscription applications and activate them where appropriate. To read subscriber meters, present information to subscribers through the web interface, and generate subscriber invoices using hourly meter reading data. To ensure inspection of current transformers, voltage transformers, meters and other equipment in the metering circuits used as the basis for billing.
